Your Poppy Bloom is so pretty! I wonder if you were to buy a cami or tank in the main color and wear it underneath, if you might feel more comfortable and get some wear out of it.

Knitting can benefit so much from sewing. By observing your figure you have the most beautiful shoulders, straight and prominent (I have to deal with the opposite). This alone makes you the perfect fit for raglan or set in sleeves sweaters but not round yoke construction. Also, the distance from the middle of your shoulder to the apex will determine where your sweater should split for sleeves. Most knitters follow the patterns and hope for a good fit when if you know your measurements and look for pattern that would fit you, your chances of a good fit are much higher. Feel free to make adjustments, add darts and short rows to make the garments perfect for you. That’s the biggest reason to make your own knits. Good luck in your knitting journey and congratulations on your channel! 😊

Thank you for sharing these projects. Not enough knitters address this. I have knit many sweaters that I never wear.

There is a fix for a collar that is too high in the front and I experimented it in a Marie Wallin pattern. You redo the picking up directly on the new line you wish to get. You knit the new collar and, if you like it, you cut your knit next to the new collar (don't forget to secure the stitches previously with 1 or 2 rows of sewing machine zigzag). It can be "not clean" and bothering on the inside. If so, you can sew by hand a little ribbon that will hide the seam. After so much work and investment, I was so sad not wearing it. I loved everything else. Now, I wear it a lot! ❤

Fir sweater nr 32, I think what you might need is light vertical bust darts, aka increases before your breasts apex and decreases after. It could be almost invisible increases such as lifted increases. Mist knitwear Designers assume a B cup across their range and for all people over that, we always end up with pullovers that roll up if we don't add some kind of bust darts.

Thanks for your review of some of the projects that didn’t turn out as planned. I think we all have these! I also have learned how much yarn choice matters in terms of finished fabric. Not all yarns are meant to be sweaters! The other lesson I learned was that my personal color palette makes a big difference. I made some garments early on that fit great but there was something not right. I got my colors done (House of Colour) and while it was a little pricey - wow, it has made such a difference! I’m an Autumn and now when I choose yarns for anything near my face, I really try to stick to that color palette, and that has made a difference for me. Thanks again for sharing your journey!

You could add your extra yarn to bottom of sweater (last color work). You could also block it bigger (stretch it a bit on arms and bottom). I bet that will fix the shrinkage.

I've knit a couple of colorwork sweaters with Rios and they came out fine. But then again, I have super sensitive skin and can't wear mohair and even non-superwash wool is very iffy,. I also take into account that it might stretch a bit, so I don't make them oversized to begin with.

I had the same experience with the Rambouillet! I thought it was really strange too 😮
