You give real practical retirement advice planning, as opposed to others with their spreadsheets

So a person with $10,000,000 spends 2.5 times a person with $1,000,000 but who would you rather be? I know which one I would choose.

I’m confused because it seems to me that you are mixing before and after taxes income. For example, you cite Statistics Canada’s median *after-tax* income for a senior family of 83200$, then that 39100 comes for govt pension (CPP+OAS). Except that 39100 is *before* taxes, right?
For example, here in Quebec where I live, each adult will have to earn about 50000$ - 100000$ total- to have an after taxes amount of about 83200$ (combined). So their savings have to cover for 100000-39100, not 83200-39200. About 17000$ more than what the video says. Or did I miss something?
