I fear OSTs might be TOO subjective...

i don’t think “which music you’d listen to in the gym or at home” should be a requirement. i just finished SH2 remake and that soundtrack made the atmosphere of the game perfect. would i ever listen to it for fun ? hell no but that doesn’t mean it’s not a top tier soundtrack.

It’s crazy that there’s no persona or shin megami tensei on the list at least as an honorable mention

Just heard Simmons saying that "the story and gameplay in Cross just suck". Story is meh but come on man, gameplay isn't bad. I think it's pretty good. Edit: And then Max says the first thing he thinks of when it comes to Expedition 33 is the music...Dude, same thing about Chrono Cross - art, music and certain gameplay mechanics are amazing. As a long-time viewer gotta say that you guys make a point or a rule and then do not stick to that, depending on the game. We all have our opinions and taste but dang, that's pretty biased.

No Dragon Ball FighterZ is crazy work. That game’s music is actual wizardry.

No Super Mario RPG? Not even an honorable mention? I know I'm biased because it's my favorite game of all time, but Jesus I have been humming the songs from that game for 30 damn years. Simmons you let me down here.

The fact they cut Sonic completely from Top 10 is wild when there's probably at least 8 that could go in there.

Sonic 1
Sonic 2
Sonic 3
Sonic & Knuckles
Sonic R
Sonic Adventure
Sonic Adventure 2
Sonic CD (I'm not the biggest fan but people love it)

I know Max and the Doods haven't played Nier besides Simmons, but having it cut off is an absolute crime. Replicant and Automata's soundtrack in my opinion is one of the best-sounding soundtracks in gaming . It really pushed the boundries on what a game can sound like and I felt like I really resonated with it and the fact that bloodborne is on top 10 is diabolical
