  Hi Robert. &nbsp;Thank you for sharing. &nbsp;I&apos;m 78 and divorced from an abusive alcoholic. &nbsp;My only son died five years ago. &nbsp;I live alone in a rented room, I don&apos;t own a car, most of my friends are dead, I&apos;m partially blind, and I suffer from a serious autoimmune disease. &nbsp;Some days I&apos;m in pain, and I&apos;ve never been happier in my entire life. &nbsp;I have no regrets. &nbsp;Nobody is hurting me. &nbsp;Nobody is bossing me around. &nbsp;I can sleep all day if I want to. &nbsp;I can eat anything I like. &nbsp;I&apos;ve joined a church that I love. &nbsp;I&apos;m at peace with my mortality, and my soul is filled with joy. &nbsp;Bless your heart.

  I look after 3 acres of land and cut 4 lawns this afternoon. I turned 83 yesterday.

  I’m Japanese, born in 1947, and now 77 years old—just like you. I’ve lived in Japan all my life. Listening to your story by chance deeply moved me. It made me realize how much we share, even across oceans—our thoughts, our feelings, and the reflections that come with this age.　Thank you for speaking so honestly.   I&apos;m 77 and the hardest thing for me is realizing and missing all my older relatives who have passed away! So many!

  I&apos;m 78. 59 years ago I was seriously wounded in Nam combat. Everyday is a good day. No complaints and not afraid of death. Busy as hell and active everyday. Onward.
