I just acquired this receiver on a yard sale. Guy didn't want it anymore and just gave it to me. But it does need repair. I'm definitely willing to spend $400 on it to get it working again.

Had a marantz  4ch setup in the 70's but was .....8-track. Was able to find ELP and Focus and some others. Friends came from all over to hear that in a large bedroom where my father put up large speaker shelves  and two speakers were large Lafayette monsters and the other two forgot what they were.  Actually sounded really good. Also converted the closet to a large 3 dimensional layer deep 4 channel color organ. great times. Great video :()

spend a minute and put your rear channel speakers in the rear of your listening field. it will give surround sound a chance to make an impression
