  It also feels absurd that no one else would bother learning it.<br><br>Piccolo trained with Goku nonstop for three years. Gohan was there too and then another year a bit later. Goku never bothers to teach either the technique?<br><br>Goku trained Uub for five years and never taught HIM the technique?

  Instant Transmission feels too much like a &quot;End of Series&quot; move, the same way fusion SHOULD make any fight easier or trivial, so it ends up being nerfed to the ground or ignored.

  Honestly speaking, the restriction of Goku only being able to lock into known people&apos;s Ki for Shukanido shouldn&apos;t have been retconned in the first place

  Before I watch, I&apos;ll give my current take; Instant transmission isn&apos;t the problem, but rather a symptom of the power creep and Akira Toriyama&apos;s penchant for convenience with his writing.<br><br>He wrote things on the fly, so alot of his additions were things to make things easier on him. Once characters could fly across the globe within minutes or seconds, Instant Transmission was more of a &quot;Lets just get straight to the point&quot; tool.<br><br>After I finish the video I&apos;ll post another comment if it&apos;s changed my view or not

  The reason why the Instant Transmission works in the manga and Z anime is because in the arcs in which it exists, the outcome of situations don&apos;t entirely hinge on Goku showing up or not showing up at a particular time. Often because Goku himself isn&apos;t the best option available to fight the villain(s). Consider just how different the story would have been had Goku known the technique when Vegeta and Nappa arrived on Earth for instance. It was neither a narrative cop-out or something the author had to (poorly) write around or ignore.

  I would give GT the benefit as well. They show the actual flaws of Goku being a child again, mostly Ki control and such. And not being able to accurately use IT falls in line with that. <br><br>For Super Goku with all of that God Ki and God Training to be incapable of doing IT when he needs to the most is a huge issue

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAz9YCMdROY&amp;t=620">10:20</a> Actually some pieces of fiction describes black holes as being separated points in space, like a sort of pocket dimension, so this could cause instant transmission and any other ability that relies on certain spatial geometry to fail.

  Now that I finished watching; yeah, Instant Transmission isn&apos;t bad. <br><br>It&apos;s still a symptom because the writers do not take care to figure out what to do with IT.
