I live in Stirling and I used to live in one of the courtesan's apartments which are located on Broad Street beside the castle. It afforded the most beautiful views. Unfortunately, infirmity meant I could no longer live there on a very steep hill with very steep steps up to the apartment, but it was a wonderful place to live.

I was there about fifteen years ago and it remains a wonderful memory.<br>During our visit there were actors dressed in period costume.<br>So I was able to exchange a few words with Queen Mary 😊. <br>Scotland will forever remain in my heart. Very good memories.

As a young lad and Army cadet , we would sleep inside the castle using the original army dorms and cots. In my late sixty,s now and watching from Australia, i feel very lucky to have the memories.

My paternal great grandparents are buried in that cemetery at the base of stirling castle . John and Mary Campbell.

I just returned from Scotland and the castle was a beautiful experience. So much history took place in Stirling.
