  When I’m cooking, I fill my sink with hot, soapy water and throw any dishes or utensils and stuff into it. By the time I’m done cooking, the dishes have had a nice soak and they are easier to clean. It helps my stay on top of things.

  Auri, you are doing something very special even though you are not cleaning. Carrying a little human is the biggest blessing there is. Your little girl will fill your heart with so much joy and laughter. Don’t worry about the future you are going to be an amazing mom and since you had a rough childhood you will be able to see signs in your daughter if she is having problems and even better you will be able to get her help if needed. God is sending you this blessing so she can have the childhood you didn’t have.

  I had a friend that had to have surgery, and I was taking care of her house and pets. &nbsp;I went over the next morning when she went into the hospital, and when I tried to find pet bowls discovered that she had not washed dishes in who know how long.. &nbsp;I looked int the kitchen cabinets and they were full - of dirty dishes. &nbsp;I took everything out, but had to empty the sink just to wash the inside of the cabinets, and had to stack them in the dining room. &nbsp;Then I discovered the dirty dishes not just on the stove but in the stove too, in the bathtub when I went to get more hot water for rinsing, then in the washing machine. &nbsp;All told it took me about 6 hours to wash everything by hand, clean everything up so I could put things away and wash all of the towels I used. &nbsp;I had forgotten totally about this until your comment that you would come back to the dishes.. &nbsp;Sheesh🙄🙄🙄

  I&apos;m 74 and my Mom wants told me that if I at least did dishes the kitchen would look pretty clean. To this day I always do dishes right after I clean the sink!

  As a Mom of 5 kids my advice to you is take some time for yourself. Teach your child to take care of their toys and pick up after themselves. Congratulations on a Girl. May she bring you both joy and pride. May her health be strong and her spirit soar high🤗
