I'm not a Muslim but I enjoyed the comments Nouman Ali Khan had on freedom. In my faith we also discuss this regularly - the world sells false freedoms everywhere you turn, but true, pure freedom is only discovered and enjoyed by surrendering to God and following Him with all our strength.

As a UK atheist I can see looking at the people of Yemen and Gaza, Islam is the most powerfully way of living.

I wish this video reaches more people. I want the younger muslim generation to know and understand that everything you see, hear and experience within the muslim communities is not always alligned with what the true Islamic teachings are. Most of what is practised is highly influenced by culture that surrounds the communities and people’s own personal behaviors and agendas. The best way to learn about Islam is to understand the Quran. So take time out to understand and learn the language of Quran and understand what is being actually said.

I know Ustadh Halis very well, he is a very knowledgable scholar. I hope that he gives more lectures in English. English is not his first language, but doing lectures like these and being together with English speakers will improve his rhetoric in sha Allah. He is an expert in Ahadees. May Allah make him a guiding star for the ummah

Alhamdulillah, what a privilege it was to attend this talk. It's definitely one of my most memorable ones. May Allah bless Ustadh and give us all the ability to act on these teachings. Ameen.

It is a very important discussion, especially for Muslims themselves, to think about things more deeply in this challenging world. It is our obligation to sharpen our thinking, re-examine things carefully, and purify them. Hope we can help each other and the ummah to not be trapped in errors and defects

It is very important that such intellectual lectures are given to ensure that we really think about the purpose of this life and what is expected of us as Muslims. Without the will of Allah swt, we are worthless. We are completely dependent on Him swt. The real truth lies in the heart of the Quran, and yet we are sometimes blind to its true meaning... May Allah swt forgive and guide us. Ameen ya rabi alameen.

this video is right on time. especially with everything going on recently. people slamming muslims and islam in the west when we don't even make 2% of the population of some of the major western countries. This just goes to show they how afraid they are of people accepting islam out of their own free will. They are now throwing their own freedom of speech, freedom of religion, open-mindedness out of the window and just showing their true colors. Truly the promise of Allah is always fulfilled.
