  I think westerns dont understand this, I&apos;ll give you an example, I&apos;m Romanian and went to Bulgaria to do some shopping, i live close to the border,when I payed, i said to the owner to keep tge change,he said no,we dont take bribes in Bulgaria ....i started laughing and saying neither do we in Romania,then he started laughing and invited me to a cold beer and gave me some stuff for free. You see,we can do this because we lived the same way for hundreds of years

  Fun fact, it is way safer for a woman to walk outside at night time anywhere in the balkans than it is in Germany, England, Sweden .etc

  As a guy whose family is from Serbia, Bosnia, and Croatia… i can say there was never a problem with the sub reddit until people that weren’t balkan got involved. yes everyone came from different countries but we all enjoyed the racist jokes about each other. As Ricky gervais said, &nbsp;&quot;just because you are offended, doesn’t mean you’re right”.

  You know what&apos;s funny? We hate each other&apos;s guts but when Balkaners meet in a west country (England for example), they watch each other&apos;s backs. Like, this is so messed up in a poetic way.
