All these years, Canada has been the loser in this relationship. We keep it going because it is the only thing we can. The time has come to stop this bullying. Bullying is what our trade relationship with the US must be called.

It's not the size of the economy, it's what you do with it.

I've thought for a while that Trump will try for a deal before the midterm elections - he desperately needs a win - and Carney has told him exactly how to achieve that win - respect the Canadian "red lines". It will be interesting to see if Trump is capable of doing that. Either way, Trump will almost certainly lose the house of representatives  in the midterms and will effectively become a "lame duck", same as his first term.

After the midterms Carney .Trump will turn ass hole and tell america he waited you out. The man child is a dope. Trump said so many times he does not need or want anything from Canada.  But Europe does.

Mr. Carney is an honest person who represents the people of canada as a whole. Is trump an honest person and does he represent the US as whole. And every person in the world knows without any doubt the answers to those questions and who the people trump really represents and why he and the republican party represents them.

Carney should make Trump know he's not as tough as claims to be.

Instead of making a deal , and bringing prosperity to both countries , Carney and Trump are playing the I will get a better deal game . Time to grow up , show your population what each of them is offering as a deal , so that we all know why a deal was walked away from .The only good deal that can be made , is a deal were both parties get what they want and need .
