  This storage unit has obviously been entered and tampered with, but with the way it all ended, it doesn't really make sense to me! I'm still very confused with this entire storage unit ! Somebody make this storage unit make sense!!!! What are your theories based on what you seen!?

  So what I did find out with a bit more digging after editing, is that the former owner of this storage unit not only went to the same school at the same years a lot of these players were there, but he was also a backup kicker for the football team. So it's VERY likely he knew a lot of these players personally from his time there. Which makes sense as to why he would have so many signed items from that time period.

  The book about predators could have been a required text for a Psychology class…..specifically for an Abnormal Psychology class.  I think I’m permanently scarred from the things I learned in AbPsych!!!!!

  This unit is wild.. I think an employee just wanted maybe video games or consoles and didn't care about anything else.

  Alot of times they only take money and jewelry so they don't get caught carrying a lot of stuff out. They only take what fits in their pockets.

  I have a VERY GNARLY tale to share here… my older brother lived in Denver for 20 years, owned a home and had a massive collection of vinyl, art, shoes and a large sound system worth $$$… he moved back east to take care of him mom and put everything in storage for a couple years, paying per year in advance… several years later he returned with his finance to empty out the locker and finally move everything back east… the locker he opened, that he loaded everything into, to his HORROR, was empty!!! He lost it and called the cops immediately and began trying to sort WTF happened to his life he payed 1000’s to store… after deep diving and involving cops he discovered that the facility pulled a bait and switch, essentially changing his info in there system and stealing EVERYTHING… he got lucky and had insured his goods and was able to get a substantial payout for his loss… bottom line… people are SHADY… not all facilities are crooks, but this example shows what could happen to a long term storage unit that is spotted and then sold off or stolen… definitely worth sharing this for context.

  I had an issue this spring with a couple of units at the same location. One had the overlock on it, the other had a customer lock on it. What supposedly happened is that the customers have figured out that they can pay with a credit card to get access to the units, take what they really want out, and then dispute the charges and get the money back. One of the units had some furniture missing, which sucks because the one time I bought a unit because of the furniture it was missing, normally I don&apos;t want furniture, I still ended up doing OK, there was a $1500 current generation laptop in it, a bunch of Jordans, and some other nice stuff. The other locker at the same location had pictures of all kinds of really nice stuff, a bunch of TV sets, computers, and a sword, by the time I got into it it was absolute garbage, I found a nice designer watch and bracelet set, a good folding table and a couple other little things, but basically garbage.<br><br><br>Public Storage did refund me for both units and gave me the option of walking away or taking the units for free. I went ahead and took them, and did well, it was the point that both had very obviously had stuff removed, and honestly the stuff that was missing was what I had bid on.

  Those locks aren&apos;t tamper proof, but it won&apos;t make sense for the former owner to skim through the unit like this. More likely is a employee of the storage unit that whent trough it. I believe that that is even worse

  They looked right over that box of signed pics when they went in to pilfer. My guess is they grabbed what looked the most expensive. Plus, they knew they couldn’t dig too deep because you had pics of what it should be.

  Worked in a storage place for 3 years. They may have used old pictures. After someone had almost gone to auction and paid it off, then entered their storage again and moved stuff around. Lazy office staff may have used old pictures
