The difference between the US and where I am, here usually an intern or a year 1 resident and in critical cases a year 2 resident will be dealing with most patients and an attending will just make rounds.

Hey Doc, I did my training in family medicine and got a job to work at a prison. This prison has a large geriatric population and has an assisted living facility unit. I was wondering what are the type of common problems do you see at a skilled nursing facility or assisted learning facility because I’m mostly outpatient type of guy so I was curious on what type of topics I should brush up on just in case
