"Where's the other one?" Is actually HORRIFYING. Imagine your life being in danger since you see something stalking you, then you suddenly can't find it.

The amount of ground that cougar made in the moment he turned around is exactly why you do not turn from a predator.

What the hell do they mean they can't test the clothes until it's been proven to be involved in a crime??? Did a serial killer/rapist make these policies?? Why wouldn't you test FIRST to confirm it's been involved in a crime? It literally makes no sense to do it the other way round, it's just a hindrance.

Anybody caught setting up steel wires between trees should be instant jailed for life for attempted murder

EDIT: because some of y'all are thick - trespassing does not give you the right to murder somebody. Castle doctrine does not give you the right to set traps and there is already precedent on this matter.

A friend of mine got caught by one of those wires, sliced his chin open. 40 years later he still has a scar.

As someone who successfully scared off a mountain lion from inside my tent, make yourself MASSIVE, make crazy loud noises, scream and growl, wave your arms, make yourself absolutely terrifying and they'll say, "Nope, not worth it" And leave.

Imagine someone stumbling across your body and your camera and in the video you’re saying “Hi Mr. Mountain Lion”

“Cold case goes unsolved for 30 years” but also “we can’t accept these extremely suspicious clothes for testing unless we can link them to a crime we already know about.” 🤦‍♀️
