In Episode 17 (Season 2) of the Syrian Campaign, the Rashidun war machine unleashes a terrifying, relentless pursuit of the shattered Roman Empire. Watch the elite Mobile Guard, led by the undefeated Sword of Allah, Khalid ibn al-Walid, hunt down the fleeing Roman Commander-in-Chief Vahan on the dusty road to Damascus, permanently severing the head of the snake. As Emperor Heraclius heartbreakingly abandons the Middle East forever, the Islamic army marches north to conquer the remaining strongholds of the Levant. Witness the brutal, mathematically perfect cavalry extermination at the Battle of Hazir, where an entire fresh Roman field army is wiped from existence without a single survivor, leaving Caliph Umar in absolute awe of his supreme general. Finally, experience the grueling Siege of the impregnable Citadel of Aleppo. Facing the cunning Roman commander Joachim, the desert warriors are pushed to their limits in a desperate stalemate, leading to one of the most shocking historical twists of the entire war. The mighty northern shield is broken, and the gateway to the grand capital of Antioch is officially open. 📺 WATCH SEASON 2 PREVIOUS EPISODES: S2E1 - S2E7 (Compilation): [Khalid ibn al-Walid Epic Conquest of Roman...] S2E8 - S2E15 (Compilation): [Khalid ibn al-Walid Conquest of Roman Citi...] S2E16 (The Battle of Yarmouk - Mega Episode): [Khalid ibn al-Walid’s Masterstroke That Cr...] 📺 WATCH SEASON 1 (The Iraq Campaign): [Khalid ibn al-Walid Iraq Campaign (All Bat...] #KhalidIbnAlWalid #BattleOfHazir #SiegeOfAleppo #HistoricWarLens #IslamicHistory #RomanEmpire #RashidunCaliphate #SyrianCampaign #AncientHistory #MilitaryStrategy #historymarche Primary Historical Sources: 1) History of the Prophets and Kings (Tarikh al-Tabari) by Al-Tabari 2) Book of the Conquests of Lands (Futuh al-Buldan) by Al-Baladhuri 3) The Islamic Conquest of Syria (Futuh al-Sham) attributed to Al-Waqidi 4) Sirat Rasul Allah by Ibn Ishaq (specifically his transmission of casualty figures) Modern Historical & Tactical Analysis: 1) The Sword of Allah: Khalid bin al-Waleed, His Life and Campaigns by A.I.
