  Always amazes me when "freedom countries" get surprised by real freedom. It's ironic and makes me laugh everytime I watch a video like this, it never fails

  This was me, all my childhood, out in the forests in northern Sweden. Climbing, digging, running, building, sleeping, and having a blast, winter, and summer.

  As a Dane, it's fun to watch your wonder over something that seems perfectly normal. We have a different approach to kids. When they're babies, we just let them sleep outside in their strollers, even in the winter. There's nothing weird about it for us :)

  There are around 2,000 forest kindergartens in Germany. And they are becoming increasingly popular here too. The children can learn things there that my generation had already forgotten. And above all, they don&apos;t focus on cell phones, Playstations and other digital stuff. That will come later automatically. Exercise, fresh air, knowledge of nature = priceless!

  Denmark is so awesome. In almost every aspect. I love it so much, i try to go there every other year or so. Certainly one of the greatest countries on earth. <br>Greetings from 🇩🇪

  I can say as a Dane, we are told many stories of trolls in the forest as kids. I don&apos;t think we were ever told it wasn&apos;t real, we justs sort of realized it as we grew older.<br>Trolls in Danish culture aren&apos;t those big monsters like often depicted in fantasy though. They are more like helpful or mischievous people who always hide.

  This is how most kids grew up in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. We were kicked out of the house after breakfast with the parents shouting, &quot;And be back in time for dinner&quot;. Kids nowadays will never understand the freedoms we had.

  I never understood why some parts of the world misunderstand kids.<br>Kids are meant to be outside and play, I thought we understood this many many thousands of years ago..<br>Kids are meant to play, climb in trees, fall, get scrapes, learn, get back up again, play more and all sorts of things, this is normal and (duh) encouraged.

  As a parent, there is an extra benefit. When the kids get back home, they are so tired, that they are to exhausted to argue and bicker with each other.
