God, Carl Lumbly's portrayal of Isaiah Bradley is one of my favorites in this whole show! Every scene he's in you can feel the pain, anger and emotion he's feeling due to his past!

I never knew that John Walker was played by Kurt Russell’s son but I always felt he looked like EGO. Who would’ve imagined him and his son would both be in the MCU?

Two of my Great Uncles were Tuskegee Airmen, pilot and mechanic, so big ups to Sean for knowing about it

So the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiments were actually way worse than you think, the United States Army actually did infect black soldiers with syphilis directly by telling them it was an influenza immunization, and then proceeded to run their experiment on them while monitoring the diseases affects.

2:18:00 John Walker will grow on you on Thunderbolts lowkey cause in this he was like a bad "replacement" for Captain America, but in Thunderbolts he is like his own character with all the flaws and it worked on the dynamic on the new team

So yes U.S Agent is a thing. And the actor who played Isaiah Bradley (the forgotten Cap) is Carl Lumbly who voiced Martian Manhunter in the DCAU (90's-00's DC cartoons not the DCAMU you reacted to). He's also played/voiced other Martians in DC projects including M'Gann's dad in Young Justice season 4.

There was an ENTIRE subplot that would made anyone somewhat understand where the Flagsmashers are coming from and why they are relentless with their mission, but it was Covid times back then, and the entire subplot was edited out.

There was a lethal virus that was being tested as a biological weapon to end entire populations around the world, cities deemed dangerous or that were coveted by powerful people in Madripoor, that's why at the Flagsmashers strongholds we only see hospital beds, military medical equipment, quarantine signs and a few sick people (morgues cut out completely), their end game was to take Madripoor down with them as revenge for their fallen.

It's always important to remember that if John hadn't stepped in to hold onto that bus full of hostages, Sam wouldn't have had the time to come in and actually get them to safety. Ultimately John and Sam want the same thing, and as the showrunners have always stated that John embodies a genuine desire to be good and do good, but that alone just isn't enough to be Cap. He may be flawed, but he is still someone who will do the right thing when it matters because he genuinely does care about people.

I said this in another reaction to the finale, but it’s always nice to see people enjoy Sam's speech, because when the finale premiered, I think a lot of people who focused only on the "stop calling them terrorists" and "do better" lines were missing the main point. Sam wasn't excusing the Flag-Smashers' violent actions at all. He was demanding the council to look past the label of "terrorist" to understand why they resorted to violence in the first place, and address the systemic problems (like forced relocation and homelessness after the Blip) that created their movement, which is the core of his "do better" message to the people in power. And Sam outlines what "better" means by emphasizing the power they have.
