  63 yrs old &nbsp;. Had my K5 from new 😃😃 &nbsp;48 thou still going absolutely amazing &nbsp;.. fully modded &nbsp;. Inc carbon wheels /body panels &nbsp;<br> Race spec sus /brakes &nbsp;. Titanium everywhere &nbsp;.. 168at wheel &nbsp;183kg wet &nbsp;... best gsxr ever made &nbsp;.. enission control ruined everyone after the K5/6 &nbsp;..

  I have owned a 2007 GSX-R 1000 just like this one since 2009.<br>Pros: Very powerful. Very fast (even by todays standards) <br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Very comfortable. <br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Very reliable, low maintenance. Hard to kill.<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Holds its value extremely well for its age.<br>Cons: OEM BRAKES SUCK. The original brake master cylinder had a recall &amp; the TOKICO calipers are not very strong.<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; OEM steering damper is worthless<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Hydraulic Clutch (pulls smooth but requires service)<br>Recommendations: Replace front brake master with updated version.<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Steel Braided brake lines <br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Replace oem steering damper with aftermarket (GPR/Scotts)<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Replace dual stock exhaust and catalytic converter to reduce weight and increase HP. <br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Bonus: Power Commander &amp; high air flow filter (K&amp;N)

  I miss riding, some of the best times of my life. I had to hang up my helmet, to many close calls from my stupid choices and idiot drivers. I’m lucky to be alive today. Ride safe.
