  as a fulltime 3d artists and level designer for marketplace since 2023 i will say the second one had actually good entity models and animations, just had poor game direction, the game loop wasnt well planned, just had good modelers and decided to publish it without anything else in mind

  genuinely feel like you couldve just made the assumption the first mod was trying to be a slow burn or that they placed the monsters underground in dark locations or structures but you literally just gave up in 20 minutes, spawned them in broad daylight, and gave it a questionable rating. horror mods kinda suck the most when they assblast you night one, there&apos;s no buildup to those. all of the monsters you did spawn looked more like they were intended to be special encounters, the big spider straight up made a web arena, quitting in 20 minutes when they were clearly trying to set something up was just hella annoying 😭<br><br>all the complaining in the video in general and your background with horror mods has made it clear your reviews over the content is made more out of spite than anything, there&apos;s some genuinely cool and creative monster designs or visuals in these mods that are completely glossed over. you dont get monsters night one, you complain there&apos;s no monsters. you get monsters night one, you complain. but not once did you sit down to consider creator intent or explore anything beyond surface level. insane disrespect to the creators with very little actual criticism. The only thing I can agree on is that these mods don&apos;t have enough substantial content to be worth paying money for.

  Calling these addons slop or scams with ratings like that is disrespectful asf considering you&apos;re not even willing to wait longer than 20 minutes to see these mods play out cause you expect everything to be thrown at you the first night with that tiktok attention span of yours. Have you ever heard of building suspense and rare encounters?

  I don&apos;t see why every youtuber wants mods to throw everything they have at them in 1 single day, that is not what horror should be in my opinion, otherwise you don&apos;t have to be scared since you know everything will spawn at night &nbsp;of the first day, quite the odd requirement youtubers have.<br>Then again, horror mods are never really horror, I still look back at 1.12.2 at an infection mod in it that actually made me feel terror and shot my nerves up the sky, not even a horror mod and was able to do what horror mod quite literally try so hard to do and fail... And best of all, it could start on day 1 or not start till day 4... not knowing is more scary than knowing.

  Honestly it feels like you dont give them a real chance like the majority of horror mod reviews do you expect them to throw it all at you and if they dont you spawn it in creative and remove any spook factor to it like youre trying to make them look bad atleast with the first one
