I'm an alcoholic.When my mother died my drinking got worse.I didn't have an NDE like Lupe but I cryed for help and was catapulted into a state of grace that lasted 14 months; That was 20 years ago,and I haven't had a drink since then. Thank you all for this wonderful podcast. Blessings

I am well aware that this story has come to me today as a sign from God/ The Universe. I am not proud of this, but I have been addicted to alcohol for at least 10 years. I often ask God to help me stop drinking, but the next day, before I even think about it, I’m drinking again. Maybe this is his way of letting me know that there’s hope for me. My dear sweet, intelligent, multi-talented niece left this world due to alcohol related conditions. She only drank for around 5 years. She desperately tried to quit and cried out to God many times to help her quit. Sadly, she died alone sober trying to detox. While I'm happy that this gentleman was healed, I'll never understand why God takes this disease from some but not others. I will never stop missing her and thinking about what this world lost with her death.

The Lord delivered me from alcohol and drugs in 2019 after 20 years of bondage. He is so merciful. If you are struggling, just keep praying for his mercy. He is faithful.
