Don’t you get flagged for copyright infringement by YouTube? I’m curious because other reviewers don’t even play a bit of the songs.

Crime Of The Century is one of my all time favorites. Dark room, volume up, comfortable seat, late night beverage.

I've heard exceptional sound from recordings made on many different types of equipment, so I no longer pay much attention to the chain. One of my favorites sonically and performance-wise is Los Lobos Kiko on CD from 1992 (there is an SACD version also). It's not the only great sounding recording I've heard with a Mitchell Froom production credit (The Corrs' Home CD is gorgeous as well). The SPARS code says ADD and the mastering is by Bob Ludwig. WB gave the band a lot of creative freedom on that album and it certainly comes out in the finished work!

Super video. My favorite CD demo tract is the XRCD version, Victor Feldman, Secret of the Andes, originally recorded as a direct to disc.

Don't laugh, but the intro to the song Sweet Emotion by Aersomith is a great test of an audio system. All sorts of little high frequency tidbits. That, In Absentia by Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon, Rush Moving Pictures and sometimes AC/DC Back in Black are my test discs. 1, because they are recorded well (except the Aerosmith) and 2, because I know the songs. Oh, and Hotel California by the Eagles. Listen for the Rattlesnake in the left speaker in the title track. Also the Guiro during the verse. (Again in the left speaker)

Love how some of these literally are demo disc tracks, as some of the James Newton Howard album was on a Yamaha Keyboard 7" vinyl and the Dave Grusin track at 13:55 I have a version on the THX Wow Laserdisc that was used by Lucasfilm dealers to sell THX amps, processors and Speakers in the '90s

I know the Japanese still love the cd format. I think it is because they appreciate true quality in all formats.

It's all not busy music - that's why it's sound perfect. Try Sepulura album "Chaos A.D." - audiophile metal recording👍

I think you should add the Vince Guaraldi Trio soundtrack to a Charlie Brown Christmas. Yes its from 1965, but completely remastered, and a US Library of Congress pick of 1 of 25 for 2012. If your American this will surely bring joyous memories of Christmas. The BluRay Audio of Chrime sounds the best of the multiple copies I have. Good choice though.
