People in the football media have had an agenda to keep the ''soft in the centre spursy'' tag alive for years, and feels they always put spurs under the microscope more than other teams, analysing every little detail of the manager's style and character and manufacturing pressure on them, plus talking up certain players being too big for the club etc, all of which destabilised spurs projects.

Andy is spot on here. When you're on top everyone wants to tear you down or downplay your accomplish. When you're a lolcow of a club like spurs, people love to laugh at you. It's just part of being a supporter.
