  Jacob's voice wears off - one gets used to it. Sometime after a couple videos, I stopped noticing anything different about it 🤙

  From a former Speech Language Pathologist (therapist)... I respect Jacob tremendously for talking about his "impediment".  He "sounds like" he has a "vocalic /r/" articulation issue, which means he has difficulty with tongue placement when there is a vowel+r sound in a word. It's not about voicing & it's certainly not weird.💓

  I don't have a speech impediment but I feel like it would be so valid to say "I have a speech impediment." And leave it at that. If they feel bad after hearing that maybe they should.. maybe they were kind of intrusive in the way they asked and should think about it.
