Barry Gibb knows how to creat romantic love songs for Barbra . She owns the magic voic and he owns the talent to match her voice with music and splended lyrics

Wonderful song! Absolutely stunning!  Essa canção é belíssima! The voice Barbra is fabulous! Adoro quando ela diz: " Rio de Janeiro " !

She bends that note because Sir Barry Gibb wrote it that way! No one can write like the BeeGees. For people who could neither read nor write music it's quite amazing.

I've always been so envious of you Barbra. The reason being that you have to be in the right place at the right time. Yes I was at Capitol Records and never got a chance to open my mouth. The vice president of the academy wanted me to do something else and because my last name is Gentry he thought I was like Bobbie Gentry who he was in love with and I lost my career because I demanded my morals. So now I sit here and with my social security and my karaoke machine not having a place in the world even sing a melody. And yes I'm as good as you or was but what difference does it make? All I can say is that there will never be one like you including me. You won the day and had it all. I think God wanted me to lose it all for some reason. I believe there is a reason for everything. There are so many Fantastic musicians out there who were born that way who are in the same position I am and if I had the means I would make sure they were all heard each and everyone. That would be my legacy. Music is going away as are the musicians. I'm just now going through the empty nest syndrome my granddaughter just leaving last June. Raising children all my life and now not knowing what to do next. We are in winter time and unless you have money to rent a hall you can't open your mouth to sing a beautiful song. That's wrong. That is so very wrong. Seniors are dying and unhappy with not a tune to lift their spirits. I do not understand at all.

The way she bends that last note downward on Hideaway is wonderful.
