  The fact that the entire video she referred to the sorority as “We” not excluding her sins told me she didn’t lie not once.  Accountability is the first step in repentance.

  I was supposed to be a legacy for DST this past 2025 winter but the Lord sent me dreams and scripture right before it happened. My mom is still upset and it’s been hard dealing with backlash but that’s okay. Obedience is WAY better than temporary satisfaction. Glory be to GOD!

  I really wanted to pledge Delta. A friend pledged and she was never the same. My grandmother discouraged me and we talked about God, and God’s expectations of me and my obedience to him. Thank God for my grandmother. My boyfriend at the time was in a fraternity and he changed so much that he was unrecognizable. Thank you Lord Jesus for protecting me, even when I didn’t realize what I was going to do; you knew. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

  My pastor preaches against this in the pulpit in front of members that he knows is apart of these organizations. I love him for it

  I had a meeting with an org (grad chapter) scheduled for a Sunday after church. I had been going back and forth with it for years. Towards the end of service the pastor came back to the mic and said “I don’t know who this is for but you don’t need a sorority to fulfill the purpose God has for you. Don’t make an allegiance, just GOD.” <br><br>Loud and clear.

  This is my 3rd time commenting. It took me about 24 hours to watch completely. I denounced almost 2 years ago and yet, this video has grieved me. NOTHING Malissa said is a lie and about 97% of it I experienced when I joined at Bethune Cookman University. I cried as I watched. Remembering things I said, remembering things I did, remembering things that happened to me all for 3 letters. I sold my soul for DST. I praise God for freedom. God chased me down calling me to denounce. I’m so unworthy. And for that reason, I will not be silent! God has my yes!

  I renounced and denounced DST in 2025. She is not lying about the lapse in memory. I began to recollect some of the rituals as she spoke, but most was forgotten. I have wept all day. I know God has forgiven me, but I was so sick when the rest of the pieces came together for me. 19 year old me made a huge mistake, but I&apos;m glad 41 year old me corrected it for the generations after

  She didn’t tell a single lie! I pledged in 2007 as well. I renounced delta on May 15, 2024. As she’s talking, I’m remembering so much. My God! I’m so grateful that God opened my eyes. There’s so much darkness and blindness.
