[Anchor] The group Cortis, which swept the top spots on major charts in less than a year since their debut, has emerged as a generational icon, even popularizing the neologism 'Young-K-K'. Reporter Kim Seung-hwan met with the members in person to learn about the meaning behind 'Young-K-K' and the process of creating music and culture. [Reporter] Q. Do you feel the popularity? [Martin / Member of group 'Cortis': Just walking down the street, people recognize me... 'Isn't that Cortis?' // When we film content, they ask us to make it 'Cortis-esque'...] [Juhun / Member of group 'Cortis': While promoting the song 'Red Red,' we received a lot of love. In a way, we even reached number one, and luckily, we went on to win 11 awards. It made me feel like we are on the right path...] Q. Is your current self different from what you imagined during your trainee days? [James / Member of group 'Cortiz': Since we have fans who come to watch us at every stage, I feel like that gives me a goal while practicing. It also allows me to practice with a very clear image, so personally, I think that is the biggest difference.] [Gunho / Member of group 'Cortiz': First of all, I feel like I’ve grown taller and my voice has changed a lot, so I feel like I’ve grown physically. Following that, while performing on stage and touring this time, I think I really thought a lot about and learned how to communicate with the audience on stage.] Q. Are you still growing taller? [James / Member of group 'Cortiz': I stopped growing.] [Gunho / Member of group 'Cortiz': Personally, I think it probably varies for everyone, but I still feel like there is a little hope. My mom and dad do that... They ask things like, 'How was it back then?' or 'How was that stage?' So sometimes it feels a bit like an interview...] [Martin / Member of group 'Cortis': There are some friends who said they didn't contact me because they were too busy, worried I might be too busy, or worried I might be a burden. So, that's a bit of a concern. I want to tell them that if they are watching, they can feel free to contact me anytime.] [Geonho / Member of group 'Cortis': They were friends I hadn't seen for three years, so as soon as they saw me, they were like, 'Oh, a celebrity!' and I could see they looked really unfamiliar with me. It was really cute...] Q. The Young Creator Crew 'Youngkuku' has become a buzzword... [Geonho / Member of group 'Cortis': I think it's really great that we can communicate just like real friends using the trending phrase 'Young-Kk,' and I really liked that a good culture seems to have emerged.] [Juhun / Member of group 'Cortis': Many people misunderstand, but you don't necessarily have to be young to be 'Young-Kk'... You can be 'Young-Kk' enough with the passion within you...] [Martin / Member of group 'Cortis': Welcome to our birthday party 'Put Your Phone Down' tour.] [Juhun / Member of group 'Cortis': We've reached our 1st anniversary, you know.
