We don't need a new type, we need a rebalanced type chart

Physical sound based move: I grab the nearest stereo and beat my opponent over the head with it

Oh my god thank you ive been saying this for years. I swear some youtubers or a tumblr post started this whole “sound” type deal in like 2014 and people have just been parroting the idea to eachother for no real reason

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceedghSTHIA&amp;t=254">4:14</a> Ice could also resist sound cause snow like dampens sound, which is why it’s always so quiet in on a snowy day.

about primarina at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceedghSTHIA&amp;t=560">9:20</a> giving her the sound type whilst with liquid voice would ensure you have no sound coverage

Idk about ‘brand recognition,’ but that ‘take a step back’ joke was well worth the face cam to me!

My alternative solution is to completely overhaul move categories into a system I call tags where things like punching and sound-based moves are better represented in game. For example, all punching moves would have a punching tag and Iron Fist would say that it buffs all moves with that punching tag. That way there&apos;s no more confusion over which moves are a part of which move subcategory.

I&apos;ve always looked at it like this: Sound type moves are normal because every pokemon is in some way able to make a sound.

Throat chop should be an ohko move into sound types. Give incineroar more niches

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceedghSTHIA&amp;t=206">3:26</a> Second time I&apos;ve heard Mike Tyson brought up as the reason Flying is super effective against Fighting, but the other reason I heard was because birds don&apos;t have ears for Mike to bite off
