  Im Peruvian and as soon as I saw the thumbnail, I knew what it was. I was born after this tragedy happened and we all know the story and keep up with earthquake drills every anniversary. I’m so glad to see our history in your channel to caution others. Thank you for your great work💕

  The circus performer that saved all those children should have been honored greatly in that area! I just wish those children could have somehow stayed in their homeland. &nbsp;Great video!

  That map showing the trajectory of the slide and how it made its way into the sea…. its ridiculous to even imagine the force needed to push so much mass so far so fast..

  Been there and visited Yunguay that was destroyed by the landslide. Helped build a school there. The story is wild. One survivor told us about how she and her dad went to Lima to watch the National soccer team play and when she came back her family and home was gone. Her and her dad were the only ones left in her entire family and they only survived because they chose to go to a soccer game.
