  My personal favorite of the eggs is the Lilies of the Valley egg. The fact that there are such beautiful flowers on it and they look so delicate is astonishing

  UPDATE:  The Third Imperial Fabergé Easter Egg, created in 1887 for Tsar Alexander III and his wife Maria Feodorovna, resurfaced in 2012 in the American Midwest. It was discovered by a scrap metal dealer who purchased it at a flea market for $13,302, initially intending to sell it for its gold value. The egg, which contains a Vacheron Constantin lady’s watch, was identified as the lost Imperial egg after the dealer researched it online and contacted Wartski, a London-based antiques dealer. Kieran McCarthy, a Fabergé expert at Wartski, confirmed its authenticity after visiting the dealer's modest home, where the egg was found on a kitchen counter next to a cupcake. The rediscovery was publicly announced in 2014, and the egg was displayed at Wartski in London from April 14 to 17, 2014, marking its first public appearance in 112 years. It is now in a private collection.

  The first time I ever saw a Faberge Egg it was in a magazine (back then we used smoke signals to communicate). I fell in love with it, I knew I wanted to own one someday. Unfortunately as a kid you have no idea you&apos;ll never own one. They are beautiful, so well crafted and imagined. Although they aren&apos;t the real thing even the ones being made now are gorgeous.<br>Finding that missing egg must have been the dream of dreams.

  Faberge a remarkable man who had a craft which people found a gift, bought delight. A jewelry maker who made beautiful miniature memories. Inspired other craft makers. Unfortunately haters are going to hate, the way of the beast. But what beautiful items ❤
