  Some fun facts about Dawn:<br>1.She is the first Main character to get an electric Pokemon besides Ash.<br>2. Dawn has returned in most episodes apart from DP<br>3. She is the first main character to challenge an Elite 4 and gym leader <br>4. She has meet most of the rivals of Ash: Gary ,Paul ,Trip and Leon.<br>5. She is the only Main character travelling with Brock to not pull him back from liking other girls.<br>6. She is the first Main character who is not associated with any gym leader<br>7. She is the Main character to first receive a water type starter (as her 1st Pokemon)

  Dawn&apos;s probably one of the most fleshed out female companions Ash ever had. She gets to be a co-protagonist with him, struggle with losing, and claw her way to the top like Ash does.

  I think Dawn is easily my Favorite Ash companion. Though it’s ironic, she knows what she wants to do from the jump thanks to her mother’s career and fame. However, she realizes quickly that it isn’t that easy. But because of how early she starts, she as able to go through so many losses, get affected by them, and improve as a result. It feels as though she has a genuine climb to the top. Her chemistry with Ash is also so amazing, they inspire each other, cheer each other on, and just have such a fun, understanding dynamic. Dawn the goat, best female companion

  This is exactly why Dawn is my favorite character and coordinator. The writers weren’t playing in the writing room when they said Dawn would have to earn her spot. They said we do not care if you’re the daughter of a legacy or our first protagonist alongside our main character. If we have to put you through trials, even better. If we have to show you dealing with depression, anxiety, and panic attacks to the point the audience is getting concerned, even better.<br><br><br>And you know what, I appreciate it because that’s real. When achieving your goals or dreams, you have to face setbacks and overcome challenges. Seeing that from Dawn made me appreciate her character more. She started from failure, failing multiple times, and came back as a winner.<br><br><br>Also, seeing May battle her was my favorite episode. I appreciate that they had May give Dawn advice like an older sister to her younger sister. Their battle felt like a passing of the torch from one legacy to another.

  Dawn was the only female that actually felt like a female version of Ash. She was the only one too who Ash drew inspiration from in his battles.

  YES WE GETTING DAWN LOVEE! I think she’s extremely goated, especially because she’s in the best series of the anime (in my opinion, Dimond and Pearl is goated 🥹)
