Thanks for the work you do. What occured to me while listening to this is the two stages that God has revealed His "law" to us. First the mosaic law, which was a 'type and shadow' of the second, better law of Christ. If we had known the second law (of grace), without knowing the first (obedience) we would be left to think that behaviour doesn't matter, only belief. Having grown from one to the other helps me understand that obedience naturally springs from the gratitude that one should feel when we understand the 'full view' of the grace we have received. Hope this helps others.

What you have not pointed out about the spit was that this miracle was a recreation miracle! We were made from the dust of the earth so by Jesus using the dust of the earth and mixing it with his own spit to 'water' it, making a clay, was the same substance He made Adam of, at the beginning in the garden. So he recreated this man's eyes! Be blessed 😊❤🕊️

I find this interpretation to be accurate. The story plot parallel that of the encounter of the Master and the Samaritan woman.
