Live in eastern Ky…Dad put 30yr underground. His dad had a service station and he grew up workin on cars too. My uncle built a shop and worked on minin equipment and scoop batteries which he helped him few yrs there in 70s. I’ve been into Vietnam vets and stories since I was a kid and this is a good ol boy from round here..mom was born in 50’ too. Cancer took her in 17 and dad in 19.. thank ya brother 🫡

Thank you for your service David very interesting interview I was a draftee like you 11 bravo infantry wounded two times had many close calls couldn’t believe I made it back home….nam 68/69 25th infantry division…
