I wonder why Ed didn’t do the usual shtick that he does with this bit by grabbing the book and saying that “EVERYTHING you want to know about first pictures is in that book.”  And then Johnny would come up with some insult, such as “you are wrong El Segundo oil refinery breath.”

Bits like this were always great. Even funnier was when in the middle Johnny would start tossing out the ones he knew wouldn’t work or stop and look a one a long time, then snicker a little and still toss it

What is really sad is that in these days 2026, half of these jokes would offend someone today, and there would be a Fire-Storm of Crying about Nothing....  The days of Gentlemen, Real Humor, and Satire....  When People could take, and give a joke....  Real People....
