  Ironically, One Piece has actually resolved this issue of clothes and Devil Fruits; the clothes are also affected by the devil fruit. So Luffy&apos;s jeans literally also have rubber-powers of stretchiness.<br><br>This actually comes into play in the story when a cyborg has a devil fruit, and the devil fruit powers influence his cybernetics.<br><br>Also, as to why this is the case, Oda has gone on record saying that a lot of devil fruit users would be naked if their powers didn&apos;t also influence their clothes. For example, the devil fruit that turns you into fire would burn your clothes to ash. So, yeah, Luffy has stretchy jeans.

  I love that Zoro is usually the most fashionable one in every OP movie &nbsp;(closely followed/tied with by Sanji) as also in some arcs. It&apos;s pretty ironic considering he&apos;s the one person in the crew who probably cares the least about fashion xD
