  The problem with the whole concept of the Fed controlling inflation with rates is that concept relies on the inflation being due to high market demand. <br><br>But the current inflation is not caused by high market demand. <br><br>So all raising rates will do is cause recession while the working class is already suffering, and inflation will keep going up while demand keeps falling.
