The yogurt called "Greek yogurt" actually originates in Turkiye. It was branded in the US as Greek yogurt and caught on..but the origin is Turkish.

Turkish airlines is consistently on point, regardless of class you fly the staff have always been extremely professional and it's made flying feel more humane with them lol. And Istanbul airport is great, rescued a cat abroad and brought her home through Istanbul, the airport staff were wonderful with her. Idk, Im a pilot and used to do Lufthansa a bunch but recently it's been Turkish 100% where I know I've got good service end to end.

I have less than Middle-Class-Income yet I purchased Business Class in Air Canada paying $2,500 where I was served a piece of cheese, a bag of chips, and a little bottle of soft drink! The cheese<br>made me so sick that I couldn't drink or eat anything in their lounge! The flight attendances were rude and the seats were dirty! I will never take Air Canada again!

Every time you said Greek Yoghurt to Turkish Yoghurt, you will feel an angry Turk will shouting at you or as we said in Turkey, your ears will ring.

Yoghurt is literally a Turkish word. (Yoğurmak = to stir dense)<br><br>And you can find it in all Turkish communities, from Kosovo to Central Asia to China.

I really like Turkish airlines. Have flown with them many times, even once around 1999 they still had a smoking section. One time flying out of Adana there was a group going on the Hajj and from Adana to Istanbul it was about 90% Hajj passengers, quite an experience! I haven't yet experienced the new business lounge in Istanbul, but the "old" one was great! Food on the plane, both business and economy is very good relative to the competition.

Love Turkish airlines & food : 5-7yrs ago even Eco. class has gifts like Chopard set of bag with towels/slippers or "Batman" movie promo. - similar goodie bag too...Love the FEET REST at the bottom = really saved my bad BACK!
