  This is actually extremely interesting. I was born just two months after Belmondo would've been, I grew up playing Wipeout Fusion on the PS2. this game and its story were what inspired me to initiate my study. I had been working in condensed matter physics now, and I hope to be able to pursue my dream of a zero-divergence gravity framework in 2024.

  It's a shame Wipeout's story is mostly obscured and not featured in the games very much. The writing, world-building and themes featured in them is genuinely captivating. It's treated with a level of realism and maturity that you don't see in most racing games, especially futuristic ones.

  One thing that wasn&apos;t mentioned is that Arial Tetsuo, one of the racers from the original Wipeout went into politics, becoming a major figure until she was assassinated, possibly by her sister who raced for the rival Qirex team in the same series.

  Nice headcanon into Redout there. <br><br>Edit: BUT! the actual canon is that Wipeout is actually a prequel to G-police, which came before Colony Wars. Since theyre all Psygnosis games.

  As an aspiring writer i would love to write a Wipeout movie (or TV series) featuring a yoing British woman competing in the FX 300 League (taking place around the year 2198) as an Auricom pilot
