You can find among them the names and debut dates of legends like Carlotta Grisi (the first Giselle), Marie Salle (the first &quot;actress&quot; ballerina), Marie Camargo (great technician and rival of Salle), etc.

  Would love to see a video on returning to ballet as an adult, specifically addressing the mental side of things from growing up in a strict/probably toxic environment. I am so jealous of all the new adult dancers who can really just have fun in class and not take themselves too seriously!

  Hey Kathryn -- Sam here from the NYC workshop a few weeks ago. Just wanted to say I had so much fun over those three days and was so pleased to meet you. I also took note of the fact that you remembered my name very quickly even when I wasn&apos;t wearing the nametag: thank you for being so personable and intentional about creating a fun and uplifting dance environment.   Thank you for sharing your experiences!Birmingham Royal Ballet is a touring company and one of the ballet dancers has a vlog! Her channel name is &quot;Hannah Martin RG&quot;. She used to be a rhythmic gymnast representing Great Britain, decided she wanted to be a professional ballet dancer and attended Elmhurst (iirc) in her final year, and then asked to join the company.<br>It was funny how you told us about Tokyo because they just went there this summer! Their flight took 24 hours and Hannah was still recovering from an injury but she managed to make a number of videos!<br>I really appreciate your reminiscences! 🙏 ❤️
