Hey guys, if you're interested in how I actually captured the footage from both handhelds and RF-based systems here, be sure to click "show more" on the description. I've got a full explanation in there! There was no PC emulation involved; the only emulators were those on the handhelds that I was testing.

Two things you didn't mention. 1--The 2000 & 3000 models also have an output for connecting your PSP to your T.V. using composite or component cables. This actually works better than you'd expect...except when some games require the screen to be flipped sideways. 2--Let's not forget about the movies/shows released on the U.M.D. format. While exact numbers aren't clear, approximately 700 (probably more) movies covering all genres was released in North America for the PSP. Great little handheld console for sure.

I own both the Nintendo DS and PSP and use them both today. My favorite hand held gaming console is the Nintendo DS. However, the PSP is not to be underestimated.

I love GO. It’s thinner than the GBA SP and it can run gba emulator. It’s so compact that I can take it out and put it away in a breeze. The GO pretty much fits in all hidden pockets. And the mid 2000’s sliding mechanism is pretty cool/fidget.

Only problem is finding a decent battery replacement.

PSP is bad 15 year old tech not worth buying. The screen quality is bad and you can only buy used ones.

Go is more portable also has no waste space for umd so better use of space

The PSP is still my favorite handheld. It's not too big, not too small, powerful enough to play retro games like PS1, GBA, Genesis, SNES, etc...and great PSP library and graphics.

Many handheld emulator knock offs from China pale in comparison to PSP's emulation and library, and the PSP came out in 2005!

At 6:13 you are playing outrun.
Is this outrun thru Jenesis emulator? If not, can you tell me which platform are you playing from?

I would probably go for a PSP Go myself if I were to get one. The loss of the UMD drive would be irritating I admit but you gain 16GB of internal memory so if you are short on cash you aren't immediately having to pay out for an expensive Sony memory card. Yes there are SDCard adaptors but that still not an expense you are going to have to pay straight away. Plus for gaming on the go the GO is simply more pocketable.

However I find that my phone is the best option for PSP games these days. As someone who primarily plays role playing games touch screen controls are fine and for more action orientated titles I have a physical controller at home. It's kind of sad that the PSP is actually the worst way to play PSP games these days.
