  This is the first "i hate weaklings" character, that actually had a good justification for this mindset.

  Can we just appreciate how Akaza killed Rengoku one of the most popular characters earning our ire, but then pulls a couple 180 and makes us bawl our eyes out for him <br><br>Really solidified how much of a Predator MUZAN was, preying on the broken

  Akaza legit was one of the few demons where you felt he had the most valid reason to become a Demon as he literally did EVERYTHING Tanjiro says Demons should&apos;ve done as humans, turn the other cheek, better themselves and move on from their tragedies. Akaza did exactly that...and it was STILL ripped away from him.<br><br>I bet if Tanjiro learned what made Akaza turn into a demon even he&apos;d have a hard time arguing his crash out wasn&apos;t valid.

  The fact that the backstory shown in the movie isn&apos;t even most of it. You can read the extended version of his backstory in Manga which tells more about the Rival Kenjutsu Dojo about how their Son was obsessed with Koyuki and Wanted to marry her. He even forcefully deagged koyuki out in cold even when she refused leading her to have an asthma attack and instead of helping her he ran away like a coward, it was Hakuji who found her in time. Later Keizo and Hakuji challenged Rival Dojo for a fight to end this immature play for once and all. Hakuji was just 14 at that time he took onto the Rival Dojo&apos;s son who was same as his age. Hakuji fought with bare hands and that idiot with wooden sword but he still lost to Hakuji. This hurt his ego and he attacked Hakuji with Real sword this time breaking the rules but Hakuji broke his sword with Bell splitter move just like Akaza broke Giyu&apos;s sword and took 6 more grown men by himself. Seeing such magnificent technique the Rival dojo master that coward&apos;s Father he decided to end this Rivalry wanting to Honour Hakuji&apos;s strength but once the Master Died his son took over the Dojo and when he heard Hakuji and Koyuki were Getting married he was furious he knew he couldn&apos;t Fight Hakuji so he played a Cowardly game along with the other dojo members.They Poisoned the well, this also Explains why Hakuji didn&apos;t even give them a second to explain themselves and just went on massacre instead.

  AND AKAZA WON THE FIGHT!!!! &nbsp;He chose to lose. &nbsp;I’m a Giyu fan as well, so it was tough seeing my two favorite characters go at it.

  I never really hated Akaza, even when he killed Rengoku, it was clear he didn&apos;t really want to kill Rengoku. And seemed like a man with a code of his own from the get go. Sure it&apos;s kinda wild since he only values strength. But his devotion to self improvement and how much he clearly respected the effort to be strong made me respect and like him even though he killed my boi Rengoku.

  The thing is, he didnt kill everyone at the dojo. The old women who answered the door. He stepped around her saying &quot;excuse me&quot;. Meaning when he was at his angriest, he still only showed his wrath towards those who could fight back, and still showed some level of manners. Thats such a cool little detail that most people miss. He only fought those who could fight back. Thats why he hated upper moon 2, who kills those who can&apos;t.

  This is one of those things that Demon Slayer does best. They introduce a villain and make you hate them, then flip it around and make you love them just before their death.
