For those of us who love the hobby for all the right reasons in the end will have the priceless memories of cracking packs with our kids and one day grand kids.

It's fun and exciting to open some boxes and packs now and then. It's no worse than buying a lottery scratch-off.

So hard to pull a kaboom or a downtown and a bigger risk buying straight up expecting a profit

I listened to classic industry advice which is right 70% of the time. I pulled a /10 drake maye gold insert, sold during pre season hype for $710, I just checked this week and my exact card (10/10 serial number) got gemmed and did $3500 on eBay, now it’s on PSAs page for $9200 😂

I learned in real time bro these tips cuz i was breaking hobby boxes but i just wanted a ken griffey auto. Youtube tells me lots of rippers will pull cool cards of players i want but the reality it no good luck! I just bought singles now instead of a hobby box and i save money, get a player i want and dont get a bunch of bulk. I also learned retail is booty compared to hobby.

Crazy that when he talked about a vintage card to buy was a Randy Moss. I was expecting Koufax or something like that when I heard vintage. 😂
