  Can't get past the RAV4 taxi cab interior. If Toyota shows Mazda how to make a hybrid, maybe in exchange, Mazda could show Toyota how to make an interior?

  personally I prefer physical buttons for air-conditining control without much distraction.

  Wife just got the 2026 Honda Hybrid Sports Touring and we love it. Good fuel economy, AWD for emergency, and luxurious driving experience. Initial we considered a Mercedes or BMW but ended up going with a Honda because the upkeep is significantly less hassle/expensive.

  I think the CRV is so good it's better than anything in the class above. I could give 10 ways but people in other sites said the comment was too long. So yes, this is a best selling SUV for a reason. I actually despise SUVs. But when I need one to help a friend haul things, this would be the first one we would rent. Above anything in the midsized to large classes as well, even the excellent Passport or Land Cruiser. Which is pretty crazy. The only thing I'd take over this is a luxury midsized like a used Lincoln or rdx with massage seats.

  I’ve never driven a CRV or a RAV4, but I keep noticing in all of these new comparisons that the CRV is noted for how well it drives and overall feeling of refinement.

  I have a 2023 CRV which I bought in Oct 2022, and I just love the car. Went multiple long drives in last 4 years. very comfortable and reliable, its a solid good car. Completely satisfied so far.

  Good review and conclusions were the same as Car and Driver.  I like my 2024 CRV Sport L Hybrid but had to buy a spare tire kit as for someone 78, waiting hours in the Las Vegas heat to be towed after a blowout is not fun; however, she didn't mention it but the RAV 4 offers no leather seats in its models.  We've found that wears better then the plastic in our desert heat.  The vibrations coming through the pedals in the RAV 4  was mentioned also by Car and Driver.  Rear legrooms is 3 inches more too in Honda, but I guess I'll want to drive the new RAV 4 as I like the style a lot and Toyotas are reliable.  Thanks for the interesting review.

  I like this review. As a person who owns a Honda but has driven Honda and Toyota both, I really comes down to what someone is looking for and their preference. They both have been remarkable brands that I've had the privilege of driving for many years and wouldn't have having an issue with owning either.

  These comparison reviews never mention this: RAV4 D-4S engine vs. the Honda GDI engine. RAV4 has 2 types of injection; Direct and Port, Honda is Direct only. It appears most don't care (manufacturers have glossed over GDI now) but if you want to keep your vehicle for a long time (as I do!), one more thing to keep in mind. Toyota has addressed the issue of carbon build up on the intake valves.
