  I don&apos;t want to spend two hours watching a highly fictionalised celebrity glazing project that wants to pretend it isn&apos;t highly fictionalised.<br><br>But I <i>will</i> spend <i>three</i> hours watching someone complain about it.

  Revisionist history is one of the most disingenuous, disrespectful, and harmful aspects of media, not just in “biopics”, but in fictional settings as well. Anyone who hates history or the history and lore of the media they’re working on shouldn’t be allowed to work on it in the first place, this should be common sense.

  My dad was one of the Irish Defence force soldiers lent out to help film the Michael Collins film. He said it was fun, they apparently ruined the take with the car crash because they were meant to drag the burning dummy bodies out of the car and put them out but they did that by jumping on the bodies and kicking them around.<br><br> His friend also shouted &quot;Oi Michael, d&apos;know you&apos;re a ringer for that Shindler fella&quot; at Liam Neeson. He didn&apos;t laugh.<br> My dad was also stood right behind him at the scene where he arrives with the iconic &quot;we&apos;ve been waiting 300 years. You can have your 3 minutes.&quot; Courtyard scene but considering my dad is 5&apos;6 on a good day and Liam is like fucking 7 foot tall and it was a close up shot he didn&apos;t get into the final cut.
