  Well this isn&apos;t exactly the video I had planned for today - there is something big behind the scenes that is being planned for Beethoven&apos;s 250th, but alas 2020 has been the year it has and things have been impossible to do.   There&apos;s one side of me that listens to Metallica, slipknot, led zeppelin, motley crue, stuff like that, then there the other side of me that rarely comes out which is this music, its so peaceful and calming, I love it

  Tears rolling down my face as I listen to these glorious masterpieces. &nbsp;Why? &nbsp;Some of them I learned from Mrs. Prager, who charged $1 for my half-hour lesson. &nbsp;My final recital in 8th grade was Fifth Nocturne. &nbsp;Took lessons in college in my thirties, and worked hard on Moonlight Sonata. Heard and fell in love with Rondo alla Turca, and tried to master it myself, in my fifties. &nbsp;Today I am 74, and hearing these beloved melodies reminds me how truly blessed I have been to have this music in my life. &nbsp;My baby grand piano sits quietly, beckoning me by its presence to warm its keys, my music stowed inside its bench. &nbsp; Although I never performed as beautifully as this pianist, the joy of classical music has been a constant my entire life. And the tears stream on.
