  All school busses should be electric.  Not just to stop climate change. To save our children from breathing in  toxic exhaust.

  The high cost of diesel changes everything. BYD (and China) has a long head start on battery technology. American companies have to compete and improve.

  electric make sense, school bus: 90minute use twice a day with slow 6hr re-charging window in between. <br>And a staggered night time charging, no surge demands when they come back to garage.

  Ein interessantes Video. <br>Hier in Deutschland gibt es keine Busse, die speziell für den Schülertransport gebaut werden. Es sind die gleichen Busse, &nbsp;die von den Verkehrsbetrieben im Linienverkehr &nbsp;eingesetzt werden. Nach und nach werden Dieselbusse durch Elektrobusse ersetzt. Sie mögen teurer sein, sind aber eine Wohltat für Lunge und Gehör der Stadtbewohner, weil sie keine giftigen Abgase ausstoßen und leiser sind.

  So many districts bought brands of electric school busses that are basically garbage now after they became unservicable when manufacturers went bankrupt. Wasting millions in taxpayer dollars.

  Over time we have seen that protectionist regulations never work. Let the market forces prevail. Fair competition brings out the very best innovative products. Regulations burden manufactures and increase costs on components that are less than state of the art. Safety is the priority here. Let us provide clean air around our children.

  USA&apos;s falling behind... &nbsp;I just can&apos;t believe American public voted for the Agent Orange and GOP... Blue Bird, International, and other companies are not into even thinking about switching to electric... Under the Dear Leader, they&apos;ve cancelled nearly all R&amp;D funding...
