  Worked for years in a factory making vee belts, laboratory assistant. Never realised such belts were invested 150 years ago ?. We were still working to improve them about 1965.

  I've used a few of these key cutting machines over the years. This one was manufactured somewhere between 1970 to approximately 1985. Hope this helps.

  Just a quick note. <br>The V-belt was invented in 1917 by John Gates to enable better power transmission compared to the flat belts used at the time. This invention was a significant step forward in power transmission technology.

  Strong work. I can only imagine how long this one took. That&apos;s a lot of parts. You can sense the frustration in the assembly process, lol. <br><br>That said, there were a few restoration processes I wish I could have seen in this video that would have made it all the more satisfying.
