A RAISIN IN THE SUN, absolute phenomenal. I love this version more than any other, Sidney was amazing and Ruby Dee and Louis Gosset Jnr and the kid, the grandma, in fact the whole cast. Thanks for the upload.

This was the original movie. I saw the stage performance, when I was 16 years.
Have had my children grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces and nephews watch every movie. The original and remakes. Thank. You for wholesome historical movies.

Superb acting performance by the entire cast, especially Sydney and Claudia McNeil. Damn, how they didn't win an Oscar for their performance in this movie is robbery. SHAME on the Academy Awards.

This was a powerful movie with an even more powerful message! That respect and self worth and love is far more valuable than materialism and money.

This movie was and still is one of the best movies in historic history. The cast was absolutely amazing, awesome, outstanding and brought real life to this movie. They earned Oscar's across the board and should still be nominated today for their roles. 🎥📽🎬📺📹

I was six years old when this movie first came out. And believe it or not, I lived only 15 blocks away from where some of the scenes in this movie were filmed. The scene with the "L" and the "Kitty Kat Klub" was taken around 63rd Street and Cottage Grove (30:44 - 30:54), and the el line carried the Jackson Park "B" train, southside Chicago. Until this day, this movie still triggers memories of the drama that actually happened in some households of my neighborhood, as well as what downtown used to look like in the 1960s.

In a time where we think kids are stupid and we teach them that movies are a Disney product. This was the first adult film i ever real watched as a youth.I remember asking my mother about it. Then discusing it. Changed my life. Talk to your kids everyone. Damn straight
