  1. Love Sage getting into Mythology, some of the wackiest stories<br><br>But…<br><br>2. My man’s video he watched literally got almost every single story wrong. Like the spark notes of a story his friend told that he read in a buzzfeed article talking about a stage play about the myth. Like 5 steps confused from myth.<br><br>Sage, if you wanna get into mythology, watch Overly Sarcastic’s myths. Got short vids with little drawings and lots of comedy. Also creator is a literal literary historian

  I feel like I have to correct this but it&apos;s low key some nerd ish the Trojan war started because Eris, the goddess of discord, was left off the guest list for a divine wedding banquet Angered, she threw a golden apple inscribed with the words &quot;For the most beautiful&quot;. Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite each claimed the prize, leading Zeus to pass the judgment to Paris, the goddesses promised him great rewards if he picked them he chose aphrodite for Helen of Sparta the most beautiful mortal woman, after that he kidnapped her with the help of aphrodite beginning the trojan war<br>Edit: for people who don&apos;t know helen was married to the king of Sparta who had an alliance with a bunch of kingdoms to protect his marriage

Also Medusa and Poseidon’s relationship depending on the version is consensual, another thing is that the curse is a blessing so no one can SA her in some versions where the relationship isn’t consensual, and finally Medusa was born a Gorgon in the older myths and this specific retelling is one likely inspired by Ovid who always went out of his way to make the gods look worse than they originally were. Like they were still bad but these are basically exaggerated versions.
