  One thing I came to appreciate about this game, especially as I've gotten older, is how fast each year goes by. The games theme is making the best of what time you have on this earth and the bonds that make it so you can. Marvelous making each season shorter than normal really conveys the theme and overall message of the game so much better. It truly captures the shortness of life and what needs to be done to make your own life a wonderful life.

  The later years wouldn&apos;t feel like such a slog if the game had rival marriages and more events. If the marriage candidates started families, maybe the player&apos;s kid could get married at the end. Whoever they choose to marry could correspond with their chosen career.<br><br>Out of all of the HM games, this is the one that would have benefitted the most from rival marriage and it baffles me that they didn&apos;t add it!! It&apos;s depressing to see the lonely, ageing marriage candidates.

  I just realized that the aging is inconsistent. In theory, all the elders should’ve died by the time you did but they seemed to have lived a whole nother life with you. Plus the suitors never aged either 😂.

  Oh man, I watched this whole thing on my drive home from visiting my family (it&apos;s a 7 hour drive). I just finished it now and I had to have a little cry. What a beautiful ending and I love your narration so much.
