Please! More runs, Cubbies! And spread them out thru the game. A 1 run margin is awfully nerve racking! Go Cubs! 🎉

Taillon did have his control problems but hung in there. Still, he threw too many pitches. I hope the Cubs' bullpen is still up for tomorrow. I hope the Brewers' bullpen is not.

2:17 -- 4 pm is a stupid time to start a ballgame.

5:53 -- I have to admit that was one hellava catch.

16:15 -- PCA has made so many catches like that this year, it seems a major disappointment when he misses just one. I said earlier in the year, his defense will spoil cub fans. But they did almost catch Chourio going into second.

It was an exciting game. I had to record it and watch it later. It was worth it.

If the Cubs don't win this series, you can go back to game 1. Starting Matt Boyd on short rest was a mistake. Starting pitchers on short rust during the post-season is a desperation move. How desperate are you for game 1? Besides, starting on short rest seldom works. It reminds me of Terry Francona's move in the 2016 World Series. With Cleveland up 3 games to 1, he announced that if the series went back to Cleveland, he would start Tomlin and Kluber both on short rest. Up 3-1 in the series and you start two of your pitchers on short rest? That's when I knew that if the Cubs could win game 5, they would win the series. Of course, Maddon almost ruined my prediction when he wore out Chapman.

The old man in the pink hat was back! Not sure if he’s been back more frequently but I personally haven’t seen him in a while!
